Features Of Special Pool Cleaning Robot
A newly built artificial intelligence machine controlled with a cable connection for the sole purpose of cleaning the swimming pool has been made and revealed by Maytronics.
The automatic machine has been designed to operate with artificial intelligence and beyond that, it has a sizeable cable extension for an unlimited power supply to carry out its expected functions successfully.
The Robotic machine has been named “Dolphin”, a name believed to be taken from its ability to crawl around the swimming pool walls both vertically and horizontally.
Based on its small size, the pool cleaner is 100 percent portable and can be handled with ease since no battery inbuilt can be found in it.
The manufacturer focused on lightweight, portability, reliability, and stable power supply in its design. The picture above is the stationary position of the robotic machine.
Based on Design, Dolphin has a rigid handle made with plastic with a fully water-sealed body. The central body is built in a way that it can be separated from the base bearing the rolling belt and cleaning brush roller.
It can be assumed that the electric motors operating the rolling belt for mobility and the cleaning brush roller are fixed somewhere at the belt to reduce the loss of energy coming from energy transfer mechanisms.
As the machine gets the needed electric power supply, the electric motors controlling the rolling belts at either side of the base can start operation.
The action enables the mobility of the machine. In other words, the machine starts moving on any floor, the moment those alloyed metal rolling belts start revolving around their static pulleys that have a high varying size ratio.
The two pulleys are fixed at the front and back positions at either side of the machine. The picture above illustrates how the machine acquires its control and mobility.
In a bid to make its operations demonstrated to all observers, the manufacturers made a simple demonstration on how the Dolphin could be dropped into the water to execute the command expected from it.
According to them, it can be dropped into some scummy situations and then operated with a remotely controlled system and external power supply.
The front view of the automatic pool cleaning machine reveals the rolling cleaning brush that performs the cleaning action.
Having a clear look of a construction heavy duty vehicle, the machine can quickly move based on speed adjustment.
Besides that, it has the potential of making sensitive moves to magnet any dirt found on the surface of the swimming pool floor.
The pictures above revealed the cleaning action of the machine. the brush at the base of its front helps to force the specks of dirt and dust particles that settle on the floor of the swimming pool into an inner section of the machine.
Where they are forced with pressure to settle in the space made for it at the upper section of the machine.
When forced to stay inside the upper section, the water space can be replaced as more specks of dirt comes into it.
Besides the ability to clean the pool floor, the robotic machine was able to clean the walls of the pools as well.
The mechanism or working principle behind its function is yet to be ascertained, however, the machine displayed its ability to climb vertically on the walls of the swimming pool to make a vertical cleaning of the dust particles that stick on the walls.
The treads that make up its rolling belt’s surface are believed to had been equipped with a special feature to overcome slippery and other obvious resistance in the case climbing vertically which obviously seems impossible.
The manufacturers were able to install a special artificial intelligence system in the form of sensors to enable the machine to navigate on the floor and walls of the swimming pool or any underwater environment in a very sensible way, keeping track of where it as not already cleaned.
This feature helps the machine to work less and save the time of its operations. It makes it possible for the entire pool walls and floor to be cleaned within few minutes since there will not be a repetition of a job.
In other words, the machine will not make the mistake of cleaning a particular place twice rather a careful arrangement movement helps it to trace every area on the floor and walls without mistakes.
Another special feature of the machine is the ability to be programmed using a mobile app.
The app can make Dolphin resume automatic cleaning operations in any scheduled time interval provided that it has already been positioned on the floor of the swimming pool.
The app can keep the machine away from its user if its power supply cable can be connected to a nearby electric supply outlet and have the machine stationed in a particular location on the floor of the pool.
In a condition that no shortage of electric power supply, Dolphin could be used to embark on routine cleaning action by simply specifying the time on the mobile app.
