DIAL THE SERVICE CODE (*121#)
Airtel provided a service code that shows you all the vital information you will while using the network. This service code is *121# . Type this code on your mobile phone screen and press send. Once you have sent the code, a popup will show on your phone screen with the following highlights:
- 4G Services.
- Buy Bundles & Services
- Manage My Account
- Borrow Credit & other self-services
- Billing & Tariff
- Bank Codes
- KYC *Next
From the above-highlighted services, choose the service that is close to what you are looking for by typing the number of the service in the open space provided below the list of services and press the send button.
CHOOSE “MANAGE MY ACCOUNT” THAT IS NUMBER 3
To know your phone number, you need to choose the option ‘3’ which states “Manage My Account”. In that case, you have to type 3 in the open space provided below the options or provided directly on your screen keyboard and press the send button.
Once you have pressed the send button, it will take you to another popup that has the following list of services:
- My Data Balance
- My Balance
- My Data Plan
- My Number
- My tariff Plan
- KYC Status
- My PUK
- My Serial Number

From the list, select number ‘4’ which states ‘My Number’ by typing 4 in the open space provided below the list or on top of your screen keyboard and press the ‘Send’ button. Once you have pressed the ‘SEND’ button, another popup will come up on your phone screen with the following message:
“Your Number is 23480…………” at this stage you can screenshot your phone screen or quickly write the number out with a pen on a piece of paper. Please note, that this service is free, Airtel will n charge you any money for checking your phone number. This simply means that you can do it many times that you want.
CONCLUSION
When dialing the codes ensure you have writing materials to write out the phone number once it shows on your screen especially if you do not have another mobile phone to copy it out and don’t know how to do a screenshot using android phones. The screen message quickly disappears once you click on any place on the phone screen thereby forcing you to start the process afresh.
