Though not confirmed yet, graphene has been found to possess such properties the researchers are looking for.

The experiment conducted with graphene suggested the possibility of becoming the perfect material for the making of future rechargeable batteries that will completely eliminate the presence of the IC engine in every aspect of human technology.

According to the research institute, graphene is a mono-atomic thickness graphite sheet that has long life durability, ion retaining and discharging ability capable of forming a super energetic power storage system when the hundreds of the layers are joined together with other power storing materials in the making of batteries.

Though its official use in the making of battery is yet to commence, the new material of graphite will take the world to its new and awaiting technological revolution.
