The new expected to land soon is the 6G. When the 5G was launched moments ago the features triggered many functions on the internet access. Speed is one of the main factor influencing the need for high broadband in the internet accessibilities.
The Chinese minister of industry and information Miao Wei believes that 6G can add further features than the 5G. In other words, 6G will have higher capabilities for mobile networks. The minister made the country’s move to introduce open recently and noted the research is closely tied to the constant broadening and development of the ‘internet of things’.
According to the minister, the trend of leading to , , , and , etc. has made the need for a high internet network to come into play if these will function effectively.
Meanwhile, these newly developed autonomous machines (drones, cars, robots, aircraft, etc) have high synchronizations with lots of software besides the AI programs in them. Apps such as Google map is playing important for tracking of locations and most of these machines depend on the software’s to know the exact direction of . Therefore, the minister believes can make a quick and super-speed transferring of a massive amount of data possible which will be highly needed by these upcoming technologies for the purpose of efficiency, speed, and safety.
The future will hold a lot of achievement with 6G network especially with the artificial intelligence technology already in place and the artificial general intelligence yet to come. The synchronization of software apps, computer written programs, and source of durable electric supply and super-fast internet communication can make AI cars, AI drones, and all the autonomous machines become computers that could communicate to each other anywhere in the globe. That will make tracking, directional control, and speed control of these possible.
So what is and how is it different from 5G?
To some people, 6G is anything beyond the , but a source said that any improvement that is 15X better than the 5G can be the 6G. Meanwhile, the Chinese minister of industry and technology believes 6G should be able to transfer a massive volume of data with super-speed.
While Minister Wei Leping said 6G should provide free cell calls or distributed massive MIMO, dynamic use of different , especially unlicensed up to 120 GHz. According to Wei, should make the phone to connect to several cells instead of a single cell that is already in place, with that; we can get much better performance that will improve the lives of everyone.
The 6G is believed to offer much more capacity to phones and make it possible to connect several phones together within a network for sharing of files, information, and . With that, a firm can run like a family by having all cell synchronized to a single system, thereby increasing employees trust since privacy will be reduced within a firm. The feature will make any message to go viral within a second and get everyone notified.
“Optimization is the keyword for the , the ability to offer something special possibilities into the trending . The possibility of having 6G in place is an already concluded issue but the receiver needs more antennas, therefore the 6G may first be installed in fixed wireless”
6G should have the ability to use different dynamically especially the unlicensed ones. According to Henning Schulzrine, the FCC Chief Technologist; “all new spectrum is going to be shared. Imagine if when Verizon is running out of spectrum, they could instead use anything fallow at sprint or AT & T. each carrier has different traffic patterns. There is usually excess but currently, no way to put it to use. Share everything you learned in kindergarten. Today’s phone can handle two dozen spectrum bands, even if true software defined radio is not down to consumer prices.” In other words, Verizon & Qualcomm have shown that it will and that the LAA is part of the 3GPP standard.
However, a source said that 5G in 3GPP releases 15GHz up to 54GHz and WiGig is working at 60GHz. Some radio run at 70GHz up to 90GHz but they are too expensive for consumers. Some are running test beyond 100GHz with excellent results even though some of the are unlicensed.
Meanwhile, a commentator in a popular has raised an eyes brows regarding the possible negative impact of the increasing in the . I quote “I think the entire nation will die of radiation from 5G as it is in the microwave region. Very dangerous, 6G? Crazy even worse.”
Despite all that has been said, 6G Internet website has already released prices for the with some features mentioned in each price package. Here are the price packages for the and the features obtainable from each:
- ESSENTIAL 5 (£9.99 per month)
5 Mbps download
2.5 Mbps upload
Unlimited online gaming and HD streaming for 1 device or more
- ESSENTIAL 10 (£14.99 per month)
10 Mbps download
5 Mbps upload
Unlimited online gaming and HD streaming for 2-3 devices
- SUPERFAST 20 (£19.99 per month)
20 Mbps download
10 Mbps upload
Unlimited online gaming and HD streaming for 4-5 devices
4K Ultra HD for 1 device
- SUPERFAST 40 (£24.99 per month)
40 Mbps download
20 Mbps upload
Unlimited online gaming and HD streaming for 8-10 devices
4K Ultra HD for 2 devices
The idea still remains that 6G is not a broadband that everyone can afford. Though it is almost ready for global use, the few places the has been tested and believed to be available soon still need to pay heavily for its subscription.
Though China has not made it open if the 6G has become a commercialized network since the country is the leading body towards the introduction of the , some places are already saying that is in place. Meanwhile, that could be the 5G they are referring to as being 6G.
