The popular automobile industry BMW group has taken the promise of electric cars into action by launching the first ever made 100% heavy-duty electric trucks into the streets of Munich.
The three trucks were made to convey industrial materials to production plants, and the same time carry-out other heavy-duty jobs.
Each of the electric truck is believed to be capable of saving 80tons of carbon monoxide which it was supposed to emit if produced with internal combustion engines.
The presence of the trucks along the street produced a high level of quietness as the vehicles can travel with speeds without any sound being heard from them.
It is believed that when such vehicle has been fully made to replace the internal combustion engines, the streets and roads would be as quiet as forest while vehicles will be visibly moving.
The recent projections that the world will soon rely on electric cars is no longer a mirage but a reality as more is yet coming.
